Lat·er·an Council AHD[lătʹər-ən] D.J.[ˈlætərən]K.K.[ˈlætərən]n.(名词)- Any of a series of councils held in the Lateran Palace, a former papal residence, in Rome between the seventh and the 18th century, five of which (in 1123, 1139, 1179, 1215, and 1512-1517) were ecumenical.
